John Krasinski and Emily Blunt make for one good-looking couple, that’s for sure.
So are the two, who tied the knot last July, ready to pass on their genetically gifted DNA by having kids…
“No, we’re definitely going to wait on that,” Krasinski told us recently at the Hollywood premiere of his new romantic comedy Something Borrowed. “I mean, hopefully we will at some point. [But] we’re waiting and definitely enjoying the honeymoon period if that’s what we can call it… It’s been a blast and I am so happy.”
So how big of a brood do they want?
“Definitely small,” The Office star revealed.
Speaking of little ones, Krasinski dished to us on his upcoming role in the star-studded—and kid-friendly—Muppets flick.
“The Muppets for me, it was probably me nagging Jason Segal over and over and saying, ‘If I’m not in that movie, I’ll actually kill him,’ ” Krasinski joked. “And he was nice enough to do that. I’m in a tiny part… with a couple of Muppets. It was awesome.”

We were a big fan of Rian Johnson’s teen noir Brick (albeit less of his indulgent Rachel Weisz-as-manic-pixie-dream-girl joint The Brothers Bloom), and it’s nice to see dude going futuristic, especially with these stars. FilmDistrict has just bought the rights to Johnson’s sci-fi Looper, starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who played the protagonist in Brick, plus Bruce Willis, Emily Blunt and Paul Dano.
The Looper plot, via The Wrap:
Willis and Gordon-Levitt play the same character at different points in time. The film is set in the future, when a crime syndicate sends its victims back in time to be killed and disposed of. Gordon-Levitt plays the killer, but who then learns that one target, Willis, is a future version of himself.
Okay, so this sounds kind of like a meta-Minority Report. We trust Rian Johnson’s instincts, but we kinda wonder what Emily Blunt’s role is in the film. She told MTV’s movie blog that she plays “a really tough girl, sort of Midwestern, lives on a farm, [who] wields an ax and shoots a gun…” and describesLooper as set in a “post-apocalypto time travel, time-traveling world where it’s a dog-eat-dog world… And it’s set in sort of 2050 or 2060, that sort of time, when the world has gone to s***.”
Assuming the world doesn’t end on May 21st, 2011, we’ll check out Looper. You?

It sounds like the plot of a romantic comedy: John Krasinski wasn’t looking for love – but then he met Emily Blunt.
The Office actor, 31, says he knew right away when he met the actress, whom he married last July, that she was special.
“It was one of those things where I wasn’t really looking for a relationship and I was thinking I’m going to take my time in L.A.” Krasinski says on Wednesday’s episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show. “Then I met her and I was so nervous. I was like, ‘Oh god, I think I’m going to fall in love with her.’ As I shook her hand I went, ‘I like you.’ ”
Krasinski – who currently stars in the romantic comedy Something Borrowedwith Kate Hudson and Ginnifer Goodwin – calls married life “awesome” and “amazing.”
He jokes that he wanted to pop the question to Blunt before she realized she could find an even better catch.
“I was like, I’m going to propose to her real fast before she wakes and was like, ‘What am I doing? I can have anybody,’ ” says Krasinski. “I was like, just put [on] this the ring. Shhh…”
On a serious note, Krasinski says their chemistry was immediately apparent. “It’s one of those things where as soon as you meet someone you kind of know.”
Asked if Blunt, 28, also knew Krasinski was The One, he says, “She says she does. So I’m going to take that as a yes.”
Krasinski and Blunt began dating in 2008 and got engaged in August 2009.
