The holidays are approaching and what better way to ring in the New Year than with a sassy new pair of kicks? Credit celebrity stylist extraordinaire, Jessica Paster, who is launching her first holiday collection for the online shopping site, JustFab.com. ET caught up with Jessica at her launch party, which was hosted by Emily Blunt, to check out the collection.

“The Winter Collection” is a kaleidoscope of shoes and clutches in deep purples, hues of red and coral, and forest greens accented by leopard and lace patterns. In true holiday spirit, you’ll also find a variety of gold, silver and black sparkle, satin straps, bejeweled bows and a clever mixture of textures to compliment any holiday look. “I think that designers are getting a little more crafty with their design,” Jessica explained, which, in addition to “holiday” style, is part of the inspiration behind her frisky use of texture and color for this collection.

The hot item is the black velvet knee high “Angelina” boots. It being Jessica’s favorite piece from the collection, she sure had no hesitation towards making sure it was the shoe to include. “I mean I fought for those boots to get them. We’re selling them for $49.95, but I think they cost a lot more,” Jessica giggled sheepishly. “I begged them to get it. They’re actually our best sellers.”

Emily Blunt, a longtime friend and client of Jessica’s, hosted the launch party wearing a menswear inspired Tom Ford pant suit with the “Malika” shoe — a fierce black satin peep toe pump embellished with a bejeweled bow. “What I love about [The Winter Collection] is that I think they represent her. Which is a person who generally likes to make people feel great, and beautiful, and elegant, and that’s what the shoes represent,” Emily explained. “They’re really fun and flirty. There’s a shoe for everyone, which I love.”

Hilary Duff also came out to support Jessica’s launch. “These shoes are great because they’re all very sparkly so it adds a pop to your look, and I think that’s really good,” she said. Hilary and husband Mike Comrie are expecting a baby boy this winter and she feels lucky to still be wearing heels this far into her pregnancy: “My pregnancy has been super easy and my feet aren’t swollen yet so I’m still rocking heels!” Hilary wore the silver “Carrigan” peep toe pump.

Jessica isn’t just on the “cutting edge” of fashion, she is, in fact “cutting the edge” herself. Make sure to check out www.JustFab.com to find your perfect holiday shoe so you can start “cutting the edge” of fashion too!

The News & Observer caption reads: “Emily Blunt and Colin Firth share a laugh during a break in filming the upcoming movie “Arthur Newman, Golf Pro” at Nash Square on McDowell.” Honestly, it looks like Emily Blunt overheard the Firth stans being interviewed and is relaying that information to him. Because he looks concerned for his safety.

Colin Firth and two actress nobody actually cares about filmed some scenes in Raleigh, North Carolina today. Please enjoy some photos and also the ramblings of a certified crazy person.

Raleigh police blocked streets and kept crowds at bay today [thank god for that, lbr] as actors Colin Firth, Emily Blunt and Anne Heche made movie magic in downtown Raleigh.

“Arthur Newman, Golf Pro,” directed by Dante Ariola, is described as a dark comedy about a man who is unhappy with his life and despised by his family. So he fakes his death and assumes a new identity in a new town. Blunt’s character is also running from her past, and the two of them begin breaking into empty homes pretending to be the absent owners.

Firth fans far outnumbered fans Blunt and Heche fans throughout the day. [You don't say.]

Connie Crumpler and Bethany Schuelke both took half a vacation day from their jobs at Lawyers Mutual Insurance Company in Cary to stake out a spot near the filming. [I hope their boss sees this, and I hope they get fired.] Both are big fans of Firth’s work as Mr. Darcy in the 1995 BBC miniseries “Pride and Prejudice,” which has a cult-like following.

Tricia Keipper of Wake Forest is also a dedicated Darcy fan. “I have him photoshopped into my wedding pictures,” she said, producing a photo of her and her husband with Firth as Mr. Darcy in the middle. [Well, at least she didn't superimpose Firth's face over her husband's, right??? And I want to know if this a wallet-sized photo and if she carries it with her always. I bet she does.]

“My husband thinks I’m crazy,” she said. [He's not the only one.]

“Arthur Newman, Golf Pro” will film scenes at the N.C. School of Science and Math in Durham on Thursday. Other North Carolina movie locations include Wilmington, Carolina Beach, Currie, Wallace, Fairmont, Lumberton and Graham. [I have class tomorrow. Someone else, put on ur stalking shoes.]
