Anne Hathaway wants Kate Hudson, Meryl Streep and Emily Blunt to be her bridesmaids.
The ‘Rachel Getting Married’ star – who ended her four-year relationship with Italian businessman Raffaello Follieri last summer – has already chosen the perfect trio to accompany her down the aisle if she ever decides to tie the knot.Anne, who is currently dating American actor Adam Shulman, said: “Kate Hudson would make a spectacular bridesmaid and it would be cool to have Meryl Streep as a bridesmaid too, because she would give the greatest toast ever. Actually, being serious about it, Emily Blunt is one of my best friends, but she knows way too many secrets!”
Anne, who insists she won’t be getting married any time soon, also admits she wasn’t always lucky in love and has been through several disastrous first dates.
She said: “I was on a first date with someone and I was so nervous I think I had crossed my legs really tight and stuck them under the table and was leaning against them and at one point I got up to go to the bathroom and my leg had fallen asleep but I didn’t know it so I stood up and fell into the next table.
“I was laid across it and the guy was like ‘Are you OK?’ I was hoping somehow that he hadn’t noticed. The worst part was that I had to walk to the bathroom with a kind of limp, dragging my leg.”
