Emily Blunt has revealed playing Queen Victoria was not easy.
The Devil Wears Prada star had to don a heavy crown for the coronation scene in The Young Victoria.
Emily said: “The crown has left a dent in my head which they just cover with make-up so I don’t look frightening to you. But it’s remarkably heavy, but it wobbles so I have to make everything very slow.”
And the 26-year-old actress’s crown was not the only suffering she had to go through for the film.She said: “I hate the corset. Over it. So over it. Every day I have to wear it. They put it on me in the morning then they loosen it off for lunch, and then it’s painful to get back into it again after a big meal.
“The gowns are beautiful… but I think if one more person steps on my train, I might swing some punches.”
